Originally from Tibet, sound-therapy treatment uses sound and colour to heal and rejuvenate through a combination of Tibetan gongs, singing bowls and bells, which all work on your “vibrational” energy. Bowls are placed on various chakra points, and when the therapist starts playing them, the sound resonates with whatever is going on with you, physically, mentally and spiritually. The vibration is said to penetrate deep into the cells, speeding up their rejuvenation and increasing circulation in the body.
Another signature treatment to look out for is the African Byzantine-styled mosaic Rasul chamber, where guests can enjoy the warm mud treatment – a multisensory experience using clay and aromatherapy. The mud treatment is applied from top to toe and washed off with a ‘rainforest’ shower. The treatment is ideal for detoxification and rejuvenation.
